Ready for some MAJOR Catching Up?!?!?

Hello to all!!! So sorry, I have been a horrible blogger. Well, guess I've got a lot of catching up to do, so here we go!!

June 20, 2008
Taylor Swift comes to town!!!!
Troy, Michelle and I took all the girls to see Taylor Swift at the Tyson Track Center and had a BLAST!!! She did such a GREAT job, we all agreed we'd see her again if given the opportunity. Troy, 2 women and 4 girls.....and he survived!! ha/ha

"Junior Golf Camp"
Whitley, LaCole and Ty all attended Junior Golf Camp at Stonebridge this year. Whitley went one week and was asked by Mrs. Ginger, who puts on the camp, if she would come back the week LaCole and Ty were going and "help her coach". They all had a great time and can not wait for next year. They owe their Poppy big time, he is the one who checked into it, got them signed up and took them each day. He also was asked to help and was given an award at the award ceremony for all the work he did and for being a Good "Poppy" to all the kids at camp.

Nothing like a Good Ol' Slip-N-Slide Day!!
The kids had such a great time, and they played for HOURS!!! Called and told Troy to kiss the water bill good-bye!! ha/ha It didn't matter, it was worth every single penny. My theory on it was: Slip-N-Slide $40.00, Water Bill $300.00, Brother and Sisters playing all day and not one fight.......PRICELESS!!!!!!

"Atha Family Gathering"
Granny asked for all of her kids to come to her house and shoot fireworks for the 4th of July this year. We took the opportunity to take family photos while we were all there, well most all of us anyway, we were missing my cousin Jeremy and his family. Our family has grown a LOT over the years and still growing!! We are so blessed and Thank God for that. As for the picture, we had been taking pictures with what seemed like one hundred different cameras for hours (it wasn't of course, but it sure seemed that way!!). By the time this one was taken Dillon and Sydney were done with having pictures taken and were leaving, babies were crying, some adults were calling out "Here Kitty-Kitty" and some "Pepper!! Where's Pepper!!" to try and stop the crying, others were calling out "Cheeeeese", Debbie lost it then so did the rest of us at Debbie!!!! Talk about a "Granny's House Memory" man do we have a good one!!!

The Hatfield Family Reunion in Hope, Arkansas
Troy's Grandmother (NaNa) is a TRUE Hatfield, as in Hatfield and McCoy. This year may have been the last reunion due to little attendance, it's gone from hundreds of family members years ago to thirty-two this year, so we made sure to be there for NaNa. Troy, Whitley, LaCole and I went as did Troy's parents Donna and Otto, and his brother and soon to be sister-in-law Cody and Angela. Ashley was able to come as well, so it was nice to have us all together. Wish we could have had Sierra and Bailey there but they had some things going on and Ty wanted to stay with Matthew at Poppy and Granny's house and not spend 9 hours in the car to go down there and back. But as I said it was nice and plus we won the prize for traveling the farthest to be there!!

July 18, 2008

My Great Aunt, who I shared my Birthday with, passed away and so my cousins were all here. I was so happy to see them, just hate the reasoning of doing so. But after all was said and done we had a real good time just hanging out at our Great Grandparent cabin and catching up. Years ago when they would all be here Tammy would always be hanging out with my sister Sharon and my Aunt Debbie (Momma's sister, not Daddy's) so that left Tracy and Duane being "stuck" with me, and I LOVED every minute of it!!! We would have lots of fun together and I am so very glad that some things never change, cause we still do!!

July 23, 2008 aka RIVER DAY!!!!

Troy and I had all six of our kids that week and Troy took off work a couple of those days just to hang out and have some fun. If you thought him surviving the Taylor Swift concert was good, check this out! Troy, two women, NINE kids and only ONE was a boy!!!! He survived it very well I might add - Good Job Troy!! My Bestest Gal Pal Chelle went with us along with her two girls and her niece, and we all had such a good time. There was swimming, swinging off the rope swing, we took a picnic lunch including a small grill for hot dogs! Afterwords we all went back to Chelle and Brian's house and I don't know who had more fun, the kids playing or the adults watching them play!! A Good Day and Good Time was had by ALL!!!!

The "Big Black Truck" is no more, Troy found him a Toyota Tundra and LOVES it!! I do to, but won't lie, was sad to see the "Monster Truck," as Ty called it, go :-( It is real nice and much more practical, extended cab that will hold all five of us, four wheel drive and a V8 that gets MUCH better gas mileage!!! (A "V10" doesn't get the best gas mileage in the world for some reason!! ha/ha) It's silver but kinda changes colors in the sun depending on the angle you look at it, but it is very pretty and he's happy with it so I am happy for him.

Well, guess that is enough for now, of course there is more but I'll cover it later. Hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story's that went along with them. I'll try to do better about keeping up so that I don't have to blog a "book" next time!! ha/ha Thanks for visiting and hope you return soon!!!

Have a GREAT Day!!!

Golf Tourn Dinner at Razorback

Troy and Daddy played in a 2 Day Golf Tournament at Razorback Golf Course May 31st and June 1st. On Saturday night they had a dinner with a live band for the players and a guest, so Momma and I got to go with them to eat and enjoy the band. We had a lot of fun and hope we can do it again sometime, and next time I'm NOT going to have a broken ankle so I can dance too!!

Check it out, we're Bloggers!!!

Yea! I've finally started our blog, only took a year or two to get going, not bad! ha/ha I figured that "The Reed Bunch" was a pretty good name for our family with the six kids and all. I'm in hopes that we'll be able to keep up with all that's going on with everyone and everyone with us. Well, try to keep up anyway, we are always on the go with the kids, at the moment it's from ball field to ball field. We are at a ball field everyday through the week, and I'm not kidding!! Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday's are games with practice on Wednesday, I've about forgot what the house looks like!! I hope that you enjoy our blog posts and photos, and I'll try my best to post new things often, but no promises!!!
